Death of Mrs. Mary Singlzer.

Mrs. Mary Singizer, an old lady well known in Harrisburg, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Col. Szink, Altoona, on Sunday evening. Mrs. Singizer was born in the year 1800 in Carlisle, Cumberland county (sic), and her maiden name was Miss Mary Halbert. At the age of 16 she was married to Mr. George Singizer, and removed to Mechanicsburg, in the same county, which place had been her home until she went to Altoona in October, 1883. Her husband has been dead for twenty six years. To them were born ten children, eight of whom survive. These are Robert Singizer, who lives in Buffalo, New York ; Andrew and John Singizer, residing in Mechanicsburg; Mrs. Col. Szink and Mrs. Rebecca Smith, of Altoona ; Mrs. Kate Dougherty, of Harrisburg, and Mrs. Elizabeth King and Mrs. Rachel Eminger, of Mechanicsburg. Mrs. Singizer was a member of the Church of God, and during her long life had been an eminently Christian lady.

The interment took place at Mechanicsburg to day.
