He was born in Imus, Cavite, Philippines and was a retired building inspector for the Philippine Government.
He was the fifth of eight children and was the last survivor of his generation.
Survivors include Trinidad Monzon Barbon, his wife of 62 years; his three daughters and their husbands, Conching and Nery Jose of Los Angeles, Pining and Ben Medina of San Diego, and Susan and Jaime Paredes of Fresno; his two sons and their wives, Danny and Jossie Barbon of Fresno, and Ding and Solly Barbon of Sunnyvale; his former daughter-in-law, Helga Barbon of Germany.
He also leaves 11 grandchildren, Day, Gina, and Mel Jose, Cynthia and Ronald Medina, Darius, Bryan and Madeliene Barbon, and Justin and Jelsea Paredes, Jesse Barbon; and 13 great-grandchildren.
We will love and cherish his memory, and he will be in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Chapel on Thursday, April 27, 2006, from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m., followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, April 28, 2006, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Whitehurst,Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home 1525 E. Saginaw (559)227-4048
