James Iven Armbruster, 89, of Murray, Ky, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. He was born Jan. 12, 1924, in South Fulton, Tenn, to the late Lara Armbruster and the late Ava Lee Brown. He was married to Margie Louise Armbruster on June 24, 1945. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Lee Green and Marion LeCornu; and a brother, Howard Armbruster. Mr. Armbruster is survived by his wife, Margie Armbruster, of Murray; son, James Armbruster II and wife, Patricia, of Sterling, Colo.; and two grandchildren, Mia Baca and husband, Ken, of Denver, Colo, and Matthew Armbruster, of Colorado Springs, Colo. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home Inc. in Union City, Tenn, with the Rev. Jim Spahler and the Rev. Bob Saywell officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen LeCornu, Lynn Ray Armbruster, Tripp Young, Brent Young and Jody Lawrence.
