Walter Willets, 31, a farmer living four miles northwest of Barnes, was showing some of his friends a large calibre revolver and after twirling the gun on his finger pointed it at his breast and pulled the trigger several times. After a clicks of the gun there came a report and he sank to the floor exclaiming, "I didn't know - -." The bullet had entered his heart and he died in a few moments. The empty-gun victim leaves a wife and two small sons.
