Allen Walker Carmine, 70, of 409 E. Lorengo Ave., Lenox, retired from the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority after 12 years, died Thursday in a hospital.
A native of Elizabeth City, N.C., he had lived in this area for 20 years. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Linda Garrison of Elizabeth City; and two nephews, Marvin W. Carmine of Norfolk and David A, Carmine of Rockville, Md.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
A funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
