MRS. CHARLES R. BAKER

Services for Cecil Baker, 74, Michigan Valley, who died Friday at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Mo., will be at 2 p.m., Monday, at Damron-Towner Chapel with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona. Rev. William Weber will officiate.

Mrs. Baker was born Aug. 13, 1899, at Lane, the daughter of Abraham and Bertha (Hodges) Lynn. She was married Dec. 23, 1923, in Ottawa to Charles R. Baker, who survives.

A resident of Michigan Valley for 17 yrs., moving there from Paola, she was a member of the Baptist Church and Valley Grange.

Besides her husband, of the home, she is survived by a son, Charles R. Baker, Guam; four daughters, Mrs. Ray (Fern) Culver, Overland Park; Mrs. Richard (Bertha) Allenson, Charlottesville, Va.; Mrs. Chrles (Shirley) Stottlemire, Sunflower Village, and Mrs. John (Sharon) Hall, Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Mrs. J. D (Etna) Yerkes, 920 S. Sycamore; 16 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dora Roles.

Friends may call at the chapel from this afternoon until the time of the service.
