Riley Virgil Cook, of Bentonville, Va. died on Friday April 21, 2006, at the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal, Va. Services will be private.
He was born on May 31, 1919, in Scioto County, Bloom Township, Ohio. son of the late Edward Cook, and Nancy Ann "Daisy" Rawlins Cook. He was preceded in death by two
sons,Raleigh Edgar Cook, of Scioto County, Ohio, and Roger Dale Cook, of Lake Station, Indiana.
Mr Cook is survived by one son, Jeffrey Cook of Bentonville, Virginia. Two daughters, Linda K Parnell of Cedar Lake, Indiana, and Donna I Jacobs of Chesapeake, Virginia. One brother Wesley Cook of Ohio, and one sister Virginia "Darlene" Brown of Ohio. Mr Cook had 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Mr Cook's cremains will be interred at a later date in Pinkerman Cemetery in South Webster, Ohio. Turner-Robert Shaw Funeral Home of Front Royal, Virginia is handling the arrangements.
