William P. Cahill, 75, father of First Assistant county Prosecutor William T. Cahill, of Collingswood, died today in his home, 809 North Fourth street, after an illness of two years. He had suffered from a heart condition.
Mr. Cahill, who was born in Philadelphia, was a resident of Camden 35 years, and was retired. His last employment was as a city park guard. He was a member of the Holy Name society of the Holy Name R. C. Church and of the Camden lodge of Moose. Also surviving are his widow, Rose J.; a brother, Charles, Philadelphia; a sister, Mrs. Julia McFadden, Philadelphia, and four grandchildren. Solemn requiem high Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a. m. in the Holy Name R. C. Church. Relatives and friends will meet at 9 a. m. in the residence, where friends may call Friday night.; Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
