The death of Abner Hubert, form-
|erty of Homer, occurred in Syracuse
Tuesday. Feb. 10, He was about
66 years of age. He was the youngest
son of Harry and Augusta Phelps
Hobart, who for some time resided in
Preble, but both passed away some
years ago. Of a family of five children
only one brother survives him. B.

He leaves one son, Harry Hobart,
of Ottawa, -Can. The wife and mother
died when the son was quite small
Mr. Hobart was for a long term of
years a resident of this village but
left here more than twenty years ago
and went to Tully, but later located in
Syracuse, where he has since made his
home.
Funeral Services were held at
Syracuse Thursday morning and the body
was brought to Briggs Bros.' undertaking
rooms and burial was made in
Elmwood cemetery in Prebte this
morning.
