GOUGH, Ga. - Mr. Charles Franklin Haas, 69, of Waverly Ave., Gough, Ga., died Monday, October 8, 2001, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2001, at the Haas Family Cemetery, Gough, Ga., with the Rev. Sandra Kennedy officiating.
Mr. Haas, a native of Gastonia, N.C., and former resident of Orlando, Fla., had lived in this area for the past 6 years. He was a retired self-employed merchant and a member of Whole Life Ministries, Augusta.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Smith Haas, Gough; mother, Ruby Dees Haas, Gastonia, N.C.; two sons, Bobby Charles Haas, Orlando, Fla. and Carl Andrew Haas, Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Joanne Miles, Gastonia, N.C. and Betty Price, Gastonia, N.C.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Haas and Cecil Haas.
DeLoach Funeral Home Inc., Waynesboro, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
