Mrs. Finney was born March 27, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Alex Klooster and Edith Andersen Klooster.
She was a long-time member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Finney was an avid reader and enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds. She loved working with her hands and often used her talents to knit hats for charitable organizations.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bruce Carter Finney in 1997 and by brother, Carroll Keith Klooster.
She is survived by two sons, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 1 – 2pm at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will begin at 2pm with Dr. C. N. Willborn officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
