Patricia Mae Sutherland, 74, of Hereford, Ariz., passed away after a brief illness on Dec. 23, 2014.

Pat was born to Charles and Bernice Farrah in Meadville, Pa., on Feb. 25, 1942.

Pat graduated from Trona High School in Trona, Calif., and worked for the U.S. Navy for 35 years before retiring. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW in Lemon Grove, Calif.

She married her beloved husband, John C. Sutherland, in November 1990. They lived in Santee, Calif., before moving to Salome, Ariz, where they went to work at Salome School District and retired again.

They then moved to Hereford, Ariz., where Pat returned to work at Floyd’s Cleaners before retiring again.

She is preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband, John; and her loving dog, Raisin.

Her ashes will be interred at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery. There will be no services at this time.
