DIED AFTER SHORT ILLNESS
Albert Brantley Died Three Hours After Being Attacked by Meningitis Yesterday.
After an illness of just three hours with meningitis, Albert Brantley, son of Dr. Brantley, died yesterday afternoon about 1 pm at his residence, 362 North Avenue.
Mr. Brantley shaved himself in the morning and seemed to be in good health. About 10 am, he complained of a headache and went to his room. He grew rapidly worse and although everything possible was done to help him his death occurred within three hours.
Mr. Brantley was 28 years old. He was employed by the American Can Company. The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed but services will held on Tuesday and interment in Hollywood Cemetery.
