CATTARAUGUS - Betty C. Baudendistel passed away Tuesday (Jan. 6, 2015) at Bertand Chaffee Hospital, Springville. She was born in Fremont, the daughter of the late Clarence and Lucy (Totten) Baudendistel. Miss Baudendistel was an elementary school teacher in the Gowanda Central School District for more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Cattaraugus, where she was a eucharistic minister. She was also a member of the DAR and NYS Retired Teachers Association. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Baudendistel; and a sister, June Ferrell. She is survived by two nieces, Barbara (Jon) Krause and Carol Dietzsch. Burial will be in Liberty Park Cemetery in Cattaraugus.
