Michael J. Brames age 57 of Jasper died at 10:07 a.m. Thursday (November27, 2003) in the Jasper Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born on June 22, 1946 at Washington, Indiana.

His parents; Oscar and Lee Etta (Sermersheim) Brames. He married Pamela Eckstein on December 12, 1969. He is a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and was a truck mechanic for Stork Service Center in Jasper. He also was a former volunteer fire fighter for the City of Jasper.

Memberships include; The Loyal Order of the Moose - American Legion
Post # 147 - Indiana Volunteer Fire Fighters Association.

Surviving are his wife Pamela “Pixie” Brames

1 daughter; Mrs. Richard “Michelle” Meyer. Huntingburg, IN

Brames will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday (December 1, 2003) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. American Legion Post # 147 in Jasper will conduct Military Grave Side Rites.
