Jacques is the son of Jean Baudon (bricklayer and stonemason who died on 15 August 1681) and Jeanne. Jacques was also a stonemason.

He married Marguerite Verieu on 23 February 1690, in Ste-Famille. They are the parents of the following:

1) Jacques (1691-1725) md Francoise Buteau
2) Antione (1694-1694) about 3 months old
3) Marie-Josephte (1695-1722) md Jacques Chretien
4) Jean (1697-1742) md (a) Marie-Louise Piette and (b) Angelique Durand
5) Francois (1700-1727)
6) Marguerite (1703-1734)
7) Isabelle-Elisabeth (1706-1707) about 1.5 months old
8) Pierre (1709-1714)

Jacques was living at Saint Francois, Ile d'Orleans, as of 15 January 1690. He was buried there on 14 October 1712 and had spent more than 22 years of his life there.

Please note that per “Our French-Canadian Ancestors” by Thomas J. Laforest, Vol XXI, Pg 41, "the surname of dit Lariviere was only mentioned in 1754, at the time of the marriage of a grandson of the ancestor".
