A funeral service celebrating the life of Beatrice L. “Bea” Mack, 75, of Granville, will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, January 12, 2015 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 102 E. Broadway, Granville with Rev. Stephen J. Cramer as celebrant. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.

Bea passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio, after a brief illness. She was born January 18, 1939 in Newark, Ohio to the late Harold W. and Emalene A. (McGinnis) Fulk.

A life-long resident and staple of the Granville community, Bea was member of Centenary United Methodist Church. She was an accomplished baker and cook who also enjoyed spending time at Myrtle Beach with family. She was an O.S.U. Buckeye fan to the core and will be remembered as a caring mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was a person that was always there for others.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Ronald D. Mack; children and their spouses: Pam and Chuck Hamm, Doug and Chris Mack, Stu and Paula Mack, and Julie and Clayton Brooks; grandchildren: Stephanie, Madi, and Shelby Hamm, Mackenzie Brown and her husband Nate, Courtney and Chance Brooks, and Gracie Mack; great granddaughter, Kinley Brown; and her fellow coffee club companions.

In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her brother, Charles W. Fulk.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 3-5 and 6-8 P.M. in Shepherd Hall at the church.
