Mrs. Cora Virginia Jay Hachat, 75, of Coldwater, Ohio, formerly of 93 Ohio Ave., Nutter Fort, West Virginia, died at 2:30 pm, Monday, September 3, in Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born November 18, 1914, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late Harry W. Jay and Cora Bell Batson Jay. Her husband, Leon R. Hachat Sr., whom she married September 11, 1937, preceded her in death August 22, 1961. Surviving are one son, Leon R. Hachat Jr., of Vine Grove, Kentucky, two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Charmaine)Purnell, Barberton, Ohio, and Mrs. Nick (Elaine) LoBianco, Coldwater, Ohio, with whom she her home; one brother, Wilbur Jay, of Martinsburg, Ohio, 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Jay and Donald Jay, and oone great-grandchild. Mrs. Hachat was retired from the PPG Industries and was Episcopalian.
