Cloyd Glen Keithley also known as “Dutch” passed away very peacefully at the age of 86 years young on January 3, 2015 at Livingston Memorial Hospital in Livingston, Texas with his children by his side.

He was born to Oscar and Mary Mick Keithley on September 10, 1928 in Holt Nebraska. He served in the U.S. Army.

Dutch loved being a carpenter and was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Carpenters Local 973 in Texas City, Tx.

In 1952, he married the love of his life, Helen Marie Walker who preceded him in death in 1995. He was also preceded in death by his Sons, Carl Glen and Michael Wayne Keithley, two Brothers, Bill and Vern Keithley and Sister, Fern Steinback.

He is survived by his five children, Shirley Shaw (Bob) of Friendswood, Judy Neal of LaMarque, Bruce Keithley (Kathleen Crotts) of Hitchcock, Jeffrey (Wanda) of Livingston, and Kevin (Brandi) of Alvin, and a Daughter-in-law Grace Lee of Santa Fe. He also leaves behind four Sisters, Viola Colfack, Delores Crist, Mary Dobrovolny and Alvina Rockford and one brother Floyd Keithley. Also left to cherish his memory are 11 Grandchildren, numerous Great Granchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sat. 1/10/2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church 4105 Gulf Freeway, Dickinson, Tx. His Grandson Keith Steele and Pastor Charles Dill will officiate the service.

He loved life, chocolate, coffee and reading western books, and lived life to the fullest. May you forever rest in peace “Pops” You will be missed.
