Sweetwater, May 21 - H. R. Pugh, 79, retired trucker, died at 4 a.m. Saturday in the Sweetwater Hospital.
He was born Sept. 10, 1875 in Yale County, Ark. and had lived in Sweetwater for 21 years.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church in Sweetwater. The Rev. George R. Wilson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. H. F. Palmer of Sweetwater and Mrs. Suele Hemby of Midland; two sons, A. L. and L. E. of Sweetwater; nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Loyd Smith, Cal Shifflett, John Gandy, T. T. Barrett, E. R. Clark and Jerome Burnett.
