Rosary for Mrs. Anita Davoust Temple, 75, member of the family for whom Temple street was named, will be recited at 7:30 o’clock tonight in Edwards Brothers Colonial Mortuary. Solemn requiem mass will be celebrated at presentation Church, 6406 Parmalee street, tomorrow at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Calvary Mausoleum. Mrs. Temple, descendent of two families of Southern California pioneers, died Saturday in her home at 7011 Miramonte boulevard. Born in Los Angeles June 14, 1866, she was the daughter of Adrien Davoust, Parisian, who came to Los Angeles in 1852, and Maria Antonia Dominguez Davoust, who was born in Santa Barbara of a California-Spanish. . . On September 30, 1886, she was married to John Harrison Temple, son of Francis P. Temple and grandson of William Workman, co-holder of the La Puente Land Grant and one of the founders of Los Angeles. Temple died in 1926. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edith Temple Stanton; four sons, Francis P. Temple, George H. Temple, Edmund P. Temple and Robert P. Temple; six sisters, Mrs. Frances Steinike, Mrs. Delia Roche, Mrs. Constance Villa, Mrs. Louise Stein, Mrs. Eva La Gue and Mrs. Edith White, and a brother Adrian Davoust. Solemn requiem mass for Mrs. Anita Davoust Temple, 75, of 7011 Miramonte Blvd., widow of a son of Francis Pliny Fisk Temple, early day Los Angeles resident, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at the Presentation Church. Entombment will follow in Calvary Mausoleum with Edwards Bros. Mortuary in charge. Mrs. Temple died Saturday.
