John Clancy died Friday (Jan 18) at Eli Johnson's stable where he was lodging, aged ca 58. Originally from Kentucky; came here from Corvallis where he had lived 18 years; was an old soldier, member of GAR, and drew a pension of $6.00 a month. Burial handled by GAR and remains in I.O.O.F Cemetery. Services at Methodist Church.
