Mrs. Sarah Frances Matlock, Rt. 1 Powderly, widow of James Oliver Matlock, died Wednesday at 2 p.m. in a Paris Hospital after illness.

She was born in Corinth, Miss., December 11, 1881, daughter of the late Dallas and Rhoda (Weaver) Wilson.

The funeral, Friday at 2:30 p.m. will be held at Fry-Gibbs Chapel, and burial made in Providence Cemetery, the Rev. Loys Wilson officiating.

Mrs. Matlock whose husband died October 11, 1958 leaves these children: Mrs. Ola Wadford, Rt. 1, Powderly; Mrs. Effie Wright, Manitou, Okla; Mrs. Viola Brinlee, George Matlock and Raymond Matlock, Dallas: James Matlock, Paris and Dock Matlock, Deport, 60 other descendants and a sister. Mrs. Nancy Clayton, Dallas.
