Beloit Daily News (WI) - Friday, December 9, 2016
Lucille (Bieryt) Underhill, 79, of Beloit passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, WI. She was born November 29, 1936, the daughter of Stanley and Ceceil Bieryt in Beloit, WI. Lucille married Clarence M. Underhill and together they had four wonderful children.
Lucille held a few different jobs including: Beloit College, Brown Swiss, and Swiss Colony and most importantly as a home-maker. She sold Avon for several years. She really enjoyed talking to people and reading. She could be mischievous and liked playing practical jokes; one of her favorites was to make her car horn beep as people walked by. She enjoyed collecting antiques and also loved being able to make donations to different organizations; especially those helping people in the military.
Lucille (Lu) is survived by her children - Cheryl Valdes of Beloit WI, Gary (Shelley) Underhill of Ridott, IL, Susan Diece of Beloit WI, Debra Underhill of Beloit WI as well as three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband C. Millard Underhill, two brothers and one sister.
Lucille is missed very much by her children, but we are thankful that she's with her husband and those who have passed before. We're expecting that she's the jokester in Heaven that she was here on Earth.
A celebration of life luncheon will be held at a date to be announced. Rosman Uehling Kinzer Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to be assisting the family. Online condolences can be sent to www.rukfuneralhome.com.
