Alice Compton Dead.
Marg Alice Compton, the eleven-year-old daughter of Mrs. Cynthiana Compton of 1714 Manning street died at six o'clock, July 18, this morning after suffering for three weeks with an attack of typhoid fever. This is an exceptionally sad case, the little girl's father, Samuel Compton, the well known transfer man, died a few months ago and her younger brother and sister are now seriously ill with the same disease which has taken her.
The funeral services will be held at two-thirty tomorrow afternoon at the Presbyterian church with Rev. W.B. Lampe in charge. Burial will be in Union cemetery.
