ADAMS – Dolores M., 91, Cresson, died Dec. 20, 2014, at Martha Manor. Born Sept. 9, 1923, in Sankertown, daughter of the late George and Clara (Lance) McGuire. Preceded in death by husband, Alfred D. “Crow,” who died Dec. 1, 2006; son, Philip J.; daughter, Elaine Latterner; grandson, Ronald Adams Jr.; sisters, Christina Wisk, Helena Patz, Verna Byrnes, Cecelia Costello and Bertha Gregg; and brothers, Earl, Louis, William and Norman. Survived by children, Ronald (Rose Hooder), Florida; Norman (Dorothy Sherry), Loretto; and Nancy Hoover (Mick), Sankertown; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by son-in-law, Lester Latterner, Hollidaysburg, and special niece, Ruth Weaver, Sankertown, who was more like a sister to Dolores. Member of St. Francis Xavier Parish and American Legion Auxiliary, both of Cresson. Life member of Sankertown VFW Auxiliary. Enjoyed her children and grandchildren, and was a cross-stitch quilter. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for the deceased and VFW and Legion Auxiliary servic s will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Church, the Rev. Leo F. Arnone. Committal, church cemetery.
