Born May 12, 1938, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Theodore F. Shaeffer and M. Angela Boylan Shaeffer. She was the wife of George "Fred" Alban.
Mrs. Alban was a graduate of Villa Julie College and formerly was employed as a medical secretary for Drs. Welliver, Stewart and Griffin in Westminster. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara L. and Michael Rodgers of Westminster; sons Theodore F. Alban of Baltimore and Thomas E. Alban of Westminster; and grandchildren Elizabeth, Caroline, Meredith, Kevin and Leslie Rodgers.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, with the Rev. George Moeller officiating. Private graveside services will be held at St. Benjamin's (Krider's) Lutheran Church Cemetery.
