He is survived by his devoted wife Tina, son Richard (Terri) Lappenbush of Beaverlodge, AB, daughter Kelli (Calvin) Flint of Beaverlodge, Sharon Lappenbush of Grande Prairie and Heather Lappenbush of Grande Prairie; grandchildren: Rhett, Payton, Lee, Terris Lappenbush and Taylor and Nolan Flint; two sisters Sharon (Lyle) Lastiwka of Edmonton and Cindy Hoerger of Carseland, AB.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother in law Werner Hoerger.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 2:00pm at Faith Lutheran Church in Grande Prairie with interment to follow in Emerson Trail Cemetery.
