Mrs. Myrtle E. Robinette, former Reno Business woman , died in SAnta Paula, CA, Friday. Her death was reported to the Reno Baha'i Community.

A pioneer member of the Baha'i World Faith in the Reno area, Mrs. Robinette was a member of the first Baha'i Spiritual Assembly, which she helped form in 1943.

Mrs. Robinette was a so-owner of the Vanity Dress Shop on Virginia Street for many years. Later she operated a dressmaking shop in the Clay-Peters Building for a number of years, before she retired to Santa Paula in 1950.

In 1959, Mrs. Robinette pioneered to Switzerland for the Baha'i World Faith. She returned to Santa Paula in 1961, and was an active member of the Faith until her death. She was born in Missouri.

Surviving are her daughter Mrs. Florence Mayberry of Santa Paula; her son Richard Guy Walton of Virginia City; her grandson Michael David Mayberry; and several nieces and nephews, also of Santa Paula.

Baha'i services were to be held for Mrs. Robinette Monday afternoon in Santa Paula.
