Dick went to school in Portland, Oregon moving back to Chehalis in the 6th grade and graduating in 1960. He married in August 1960 and later married again July 1983.

Dick worked at Kinnear, later known as Wayne Dalton. This job allowed him the opportunity to travel. Naming a few; Washington, Oregon, Mississippi, California, Boston, Chicago and others. He returned to his roots in Centralia, 1988, retiring in 2004 with 40 years of service.

Dick traveled to all but 5 states in his genealogical
research trail. He restored cars; displaying them at shows.

Foremost, his love of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Chuck Stevens; sister, Virginia Tharp; son; Marvin Honeycutt b. August 12, 1962, in Vallejo, California d. May 12, 2011 San Diego, CA and daughter, Lori Honeycutt.

Dick was an excellent Find a Grave contributor. His insight and research assistance will greatly be missed.
