Eddie Lee Roy Luster, 65 of Powhatan passed from this life Monday, January 12, 2015 at home. He was born May 6, 1949 in Elvins, Missouri to Jay Roy and Lorine Fry Luster. He was a longtime resident of Lawrence County and a retired Marine veteran where he served in the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include sons, Joey Luster (Sandy) and Eddie “Buster” Luster (Celena); daughters, Cheryl Luster, Jeannie Salva (Jimmy) and Kelly Whitlow, brothers, Jack Luster and Jay Stevens; sisters, Deborah Gatrel, Peggy Bratcher and Charlotte Langston; grandsons, Tyler, Kyle, Owen and Tanner; granddaughters, Nicole, Samantha, Shayla and Shanda; great-granddaughter Kensley.

Funeral Services will be Friday, 1:00p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Burial will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock with military honors. Gaylon Russell officiating.

Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to service.

Pallbearers: Joey Luster, Eddie “Buster” Luster, Billy Woodson, C.W. Bratcher, Keith Bratcher and Dustin Meeks.

Honorary: Fred Stanley and Terry Mashburn.
