ESTIE MARLIN COLLIE

Estie Marlin Collie, 62, of 2833 Adams, died this morning at his home.

Mr. Collie was born March 18, 1902 in Benton, Ky., a son of Alonzo Corwin and Adah Elizabeth Travis Collie. The family moved to Amarillo, Tx when he was an infant. He came to Ogden in 1943.

On Nov. 23, 1943, he married his second wife, Virginia Marcelle Hoefler in Wells, Nv.

He had been a carpenter for the Weyher Construction Co. He was a member of Carpenters Union, Local 450 and had been vice president for the past 10 years.

Surviving are his widow, four sons by his former marriage to Martha Elizabeth Richardson, Willis Marlin Collie, Amarillo, Richardson T. Collie, Plainview, Tx; Estie Morris Collie and Jimmie R. Collie, both of Fontana, Ca.; two sons and two daughters by his present marriage; Dennis Collie, Arlis Collie, Mrs. Virginia Collie Francis, Miss Sandra Kay Collie all of Ogden; two stepsons, Gail E. Larsen Ray; Keith J. Larsen Lompoc, Ca; 16 grandchildren, one brother, Ervie Collie, Tx, and one sister Mrs. Eunice Ramsey, Amarillo

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in Linquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with officers of Carpenters Union, Local 450, officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday prior to the services. Burial in Memorial Gardens of Wasatch.
