Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church
Dolores Loretta Sheridan, age 77, resident of 93 Park Village, Shelby died Monday, July 21, 2003 in Crestwood Care Center following a lingering illness.
Born July 11, 1926 in Long Island, NY to Joseph & Loretta (Shea) Armstrong she had been a Shelby resident since 1945. Mrs. Sheridan was employed as a nurse working for Dr. Villao and Shelby Memorial Hospital retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter and her friend, Loretta Ziegler and Mike Smith of Plymouth; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Edward & Karen Sheridan of Mansfield; Frederick & Donna Sheridan of Elk Horn, KY; four grandchildren, Rick and Lisa Windsor and their children, Abby and Andrea; Shannon and Jesse Delaney and daughter, Tabitha; Joseph Sheridan, and Shelby Sheridan; two step-grandchildren, Chris and his children, Gabriel and Regan; and Savannah; one cousin, Teresa Pitta of Long Island, NY, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Sheridan in 1977; three sisters, Leona Betson, Muriel Killoran & Loretta Armstrong.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 PM Thursday from the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Father Nicholas Cunningham will officiate with interment in Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial expressions may be made to the church.
