~MRS. BROTHERSON BURIED WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Vay Allred BROTHERSON, 58, died at her residence in Mount Pleasant Sunday evening after a lingering illness. She was born in Spring City September 15, 1891, a daughter of Alvin E. and Maria J. ALLRED. On January 24, 1912, she was married in Manti to J. Con BROTHERSON of Mount Pleasant, and they made their home here, at Moroni and Duchesne.
For the next four years they had resided here.
Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she had served on stake Relief Society boards. She had been ward Relief Society president in addition to other activities in LDS auxiliary organizations.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Fred WILLCOX, Mount Pleasant; three grandchildren; her mother, Spring City; three brothers, Vance ALLRED, Spring City; Edson ALLRED, Tooele, and Leslie ALLRED, Moroni; and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie A. BROTHERSON, and Mrs. Odessa JENSEN, Spring City.
Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Mount Pleasant North Ward Chapel by Arnold Stevens, bishop.
Burial in Mount Pleasant City Cemetery was directed by Ursenbach Funeral Home.
