Delores worked for Kansas City Life for a time but was mostly a housewife and a homemaker. She was the president and an active member for 25 years of the Stitch and Chatter Sewing Club. She was also an active member of the VFW 3600 Ladies Auxiliary and the 50 & Holding Club, all of Climax Springs, Missouri. Delores was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Climax Springs and was a previous member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Kansas City, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sons, David, Mark and Dale Anderson. She was survived by her husband, Charles, of more than 66 years; three sons, Glen and his wife, Don and Keith; two daughters, Dené and her husband, and Marsh. twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
"She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends."
Service was held in Kansas City at the Overland Park Funeral Home Friday, January 16th. Funeral service was on Saturday morning at the funeral home, followed by the gaveside service at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
