Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, the Evening News, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Sat., Oct. 13, 1956, pg 18:
"Elizabeth Andress, Kingston, Dies at 90 --- Mrs. Elizabeth S. Andress, 90, widow of Jeremiah E. Andress, of 100 West Vaughn Street, Kingston, died yesterday morning at 8:45 at her home following 18 months' illness.
"Born at Nescopeck Township, Mrs. Andress was a daughter of the late Theodore and Sarah Keen Naugle. She lived at Pond Hill many years and last 36 years resided in Kingston. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingston, and its Ladies Auxiliary.
"Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Sommers F. Puckey, Nuangola; Mrs. Wayne H. Graybill, Harrisburg; Mrs. Walter D. Mills, at home, and Mrs. Thomas J. Thomas, Kingston; a son, Leroy Andress, Slocum; a sister, Mrs. James Fry, Hammonton, N.J.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
"Funeral will be held from the Snowdon Funeral Home, 420 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, Monday afternoon at 2. Rev. George R. Deisher will officiate and burial will be in Pond Hill Cemetery."
