FERTITTA, Mary Louise Murray, 93, of Richmond, passed into the arms of God on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. Waiting for her in heaven are her father, mother and loving husband, Clement Joseph "Bud" Fertitta Sr.; along with her brothers, Lee Roy Murray Sr. and Charles Murray; her beloved sister, Betty Jane Murray Emmick; and grandson, Clement J. Fertitta III. She is survived by her five children, four sons, C.J. Fertitta Jr. (Lorie), Anthony L. Fertitta, Terry M. Fertitta Sr. (Dianne) and John R. Fertitta Sr. (Natalie); daughter, Ann Marie Fertitta Turnage; former daughter-in-law, Martha Fertitta; 15 grandchildren; and many great and great-great- grandchildren. Mary was a native of Houston, Texas. She enjoyed life and was a wonderful mother who loved to sew, do arts and crafts and spend time with her family. She enjoyed playing tennis and did so into her early 80s. Her family will receive friends at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 2700 Dolfield Dr. The family will receive friends 45 minutes prior to the Mass.
