Max Glenn Springsteen, age 92 years of Mayville, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Heritage Hill Assisted Living in Caro, MI. surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday January 18, 2015 at the Avram Funeral Home in Mayville, MI. with Pastor Brad Long, Senior Minister of Reformation Bible Church officitating.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday January 17 from 2-8 PM at Avram Funeral Home and on Sunday from 2 PM until time of service.

Graveside Military honors will be conducted by Mayville/Vassar Post #10884 and Mayville American Legion Post #181 in the spring.

Memorials may be made to the family fund.

Max was born May 15, 1922 in Mayville MI. to Claude and Ora (Yorton) Springsteen. Max married Betty Root August 15, 1942 in Flushing, MI. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Max loved horses, raising coon dogs, coon hunting, Detroit Tigers, sharing good times with family and friends. He was a retired farmer.

Max is survived by daughters: Judy (Don)Lichnovsky of Vassar, MI, Deborah Trombly of Fostoria, MI. Diane Springsteen of Caro, MI., and Rebecca Bodeis of Mayville, MI. sons : Scott Springsteen of Silverwood, MI., Terry (Cindy) of Millington, MI. and special friends Sherry and Slim. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Max was preceded in death by: wife Betty in 1995, son Randyl, two brothers, one sister and son in law James Bodeis.
