Cecil D. Jackson, 83, of 904 East Murray Street died at 10:11 AM Monday, February 18, 1991, at McDonough District Hospital.

Born September 21, 1907, in Monroe City, MO to William and Minnie McKee Jackson, he married Louise Tolle on November 2, 1946 in Moline. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Patricia Smith of Macomb; and Marilyn Hartman of Savanna; one son Walter Russell of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one brother, Marion of Colchester; and one sister, Mildred Goodrich of Macomb. He was proceded in death by one son, one grandchild, four brothers, and four sisters.

He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1921 in Macomb. A laborer, he worked for various contractors in the Macomb area.

Services will be at 1 PM Wednesday at Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home. The Rev. Willie McCoy will officiate. Calling hours will be after 2 PM today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb, with graveside military rites by the Macomb VFW post.

Memorials may be made to Colchester Nursing Center.

Additional notes: Cecil first married Lillian Bell Standard 25 April 1929 and divorced before 19 June 1941. They had one child, Patricia Elaine (Jackson) Smith 25 September 1930.
