Barry J. Koehler, 43, of Mertztown, PA died Friday, December 10, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of Stephanie (Batz) Koehler. They were married for 21 years last May.

A graduate of Muhlenburg College, he was a senior research specialist at Air Products & Chemicals Inc., Trexlertown, PA for 20 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Lucille M. (Muschlitz) Koehler of Bethlehem and the late Elwood F. Koehler.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton, PA and a member of its council in the early 1990s.

Survivors: Wife and mother; sons, Bradley J. and Joseph B., and a daughter, Emily M., all at home; sisters, Linda, wife of William Tarbox of Emmaus, PA and Wanda, wife of Patrick Finelli of Bethlehem, and brothers, Larry E. of Tatamy, PA, Perry L. of Greenville, SC, and Gary A. of Bethlehem, PA.

Services: 10 AM Wednesday in the church. Call 7-8 PM Tuesday, Ludwick Funeral Rome, 25 E. Weis St., Topton, PA.
