She was born on May 7, 1903 in Jasper County and has spent her life in the Mt. Ayr community. She was married to Percy Chamberlain who survives, in Mt. Ayr, in March, 1923. She belonged to the Mt. Ayr United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors of America, W.S.C.S., George Ade Hospital Auxiliary and the Jolly 12 Club. Also surviving are three sons, Gordon, Donald, and Roger, all of Morocco; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; also a brother, John Hufty of Laguna Beach, California. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services were held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Weston Funeral Home with Rev. Ivan Wood officiating with burial at Riverside Cemetery.
