Edna Marie Schaffer, 77 of Okemah, OK and a long-time resident of Gravette passed away Sunday, Jan. 11. She was born July 24, 1937 to the late Joseph and esther Lennon Alexander in Rock, Kansas. She enjoyed sewing and making latch-hook rugs, but loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was proceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin Henry Schaffer, a son Paul Schaffer, 2 grandsons; Jacob Bryson and Ricky Gregory and 7 Brothers and sisters. Survivors include 3 Daughters, Betty (John) Gregory of Gravette, Caroll (Dale) Rector of Missouri and Esther Bryson of Oklahoma. Four sisters, Ellen Neill of Oklahoma, Bonnie (Bill) Schaffer and Xollie (Delbert) Buffer of Gravette and Betty (Bud) Wilkins of Decatur, Two Brothers Wendell (Wella) Alexander and Billy (Jennie) Alexander of Gravette. 9 Grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.
