Burniece W. Reynolds, was born January 21, 1903 in Hiawatha, Kansas and was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away September 18, 2005 in Biggs, California at the age of 102. Burniece met and married Lewis E. Reynolds and moved to Biggs, California in 1925 where Lewis taught school and they farmed.
Burniece was a member and Past Matron of Lyman Chapter, O.E.S. and a Deputy Grand Matron as well as past Mother Advisor of the Gridley Assembly of Rainbow for girls. She was a past President of the Biggs Women's Club and a past officer of Shasta District Women's Club. She also served on the Biggs-Gridley Hospital Auxiliary and was Vice-President of the Gridley branch of the Retired Teachers of Butte County.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Biggs United Methodist Church, 441 "C" Street, Biggs, California.
