George W. Houseal, sixty, of Maytown, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's hospital after a lingering illness. He was a son of the late Franklin Peters and Cecelia Goodyear Houseal. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mabel Houseal, and the following children: Charles M., Maytown; Frank, Mount Joy RD1; George at home; Robert and Carl, Maytown, Walter, Marietta; Norman and Anna Kathryn, at home. Sixteen grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Frank Buller, Lancaster also survive. (Intelligencer Journal - Apr 3, 1939)
