Mrs. Mabel Morton Houseal, eighty-five, died at her home at 113 E. High St., in Maytown Tuesday. The widow of George W. Houseal, she had been ill for the past two years. Born in Maytown, she was a daughter of the Aaron and Caroline Shugar Morton and a lifetime resident of Maytown. She had been a member of the Maytown Reformed Church for the past 70 years. Surviving are six children, Charles M., Norman A., Robert M., and Carl J., all of Maytown; George M., Marietta; Katherine, wife of William Hollenbaugh, Ephrata; 26 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Frank Zeone, and a brother, Jay Morton, both of York, also survive. (Lancaster New Era - Apr 1, 1959)
