Mrs. Anna Charlotte Wilson, an aged and esteemed resident of Dodge township, passed away at her home there at 10:00 o’clock Friday morning. She was seventy two year old and had been ill only a few days and her sudden death came as a distinct shock to the family and entire community. The funeral services were held from the M.E. church in Mineral Ridge at 2:00 o’clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Myers of Pilot Mound, and attended by many sorrowing relatives and friends, burial in the Mineral Ridge cemetery.

Anna Charlotte was the daughter of Nicholas Peterson and Anna Kelly. She married (1) 11 Nov 1860 Preston Mayfield and had children: Margaret 1863; John J. 1865; Henry A. 1867; Rufus M. 1870; Robert 1871; Sanford 1873; Elma Sophia 1874; William 1876; and Samuel P. 1878. Preston died in Oct 1879 of typhoid fever. She married (2) 5 Mar 1885 Humphrey Templeton. She married (3) Jan 18 1911 Simon F. Wilson.
