Ricky Charles Arbo, 45 of Concord N.H. died unexpectedly on Jan. 14, 2015. Born in Bristol Conn., on June 26th, 1969, he was the son of Charles H. and Alicia A. (Labelle) Arbo. He lived in NH most of his life.

After graduating from Pembroke Academy in 1987, he began a long career in the food service industry. Rick started out as a delivery driver for Pizza Wheels in Concord and then managed various restaurants until he joined the Applebee's chain in 2000. Rick managed several Applebee's locations and was recognized for numerous management awards and achievements over the years. In 2010 he was named the National General Manager of the Year for Applebee's. He was most recently the GM at the Concord location.

Rick had a lifelong passion for anything sports, especially his obsession with golf. He was a member at Pembroke Pines Country Club (The "Plaz") where he loved everyone and everyone loved him. He also truly enjoyed good music, traveling and experiencing new things.

Nothing was more important to him in his life than his son Gabriel, followed closely by the love he had for his family and close friends. He will always be remembered for his smile, quick wit, big heart and that he had a hug for everyone he met.

Rick is survived by his son Gabriel, his mother Alicia Perry, stepfather Jackson Perry, and his loving brother Michael. He also leaves behind his girlfriend Lynn Hanson and her family, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00PM with a celebration of Ricky's life to follow at 7:00 PM In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NH Special Olympics and/or American Heart Association. The Bennett Funeral Home of Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
