Lottie B. Young, 95, Bidwell, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2009 at Holzer Senior Care with her family and friends at her bedside. She was born on May 25, 1913 in Bertha, West Virginia to the late Dorcas and Arabella Mann Smith. She was an avid gardner and quilter, long-standing member of Harris Baptist Church of Harrisburg, and owned and operated Young Family Farm near Rio Grande.

She is survived by a son and daughter, Darrel (Joyce) Young, Bidwell and Judy (Dwayne) Caldwell, Gallipolis; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Guy Young on February 13, 1965; two brothers, Estil and Henry Smith; and one sister, Mamie Warner.

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Pastor Chester Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Sunday.
