MRS. JULIA E. ACHESON

Mrs. Julia E. Acheson, 79, formerly of 1205 N. Harmony, died Friday afternoon at Rock Haven where she had resided since 1976.

The former Julia Tuckwood was born May 1, 1899, in Janesville and married Theodore D. Acheson Nov. 14, 1923, in Rockford, Ill. She had been employed as a bookkeeper at the Acheson Paint Store for many years and was a member of the Cargill United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 69, Woman' Club and Janesville Art League.

Surviving are her husband, at Rock Haven; a son, Dr. William E. Acheson of San Diego, Calif.; four grand children; and a sister, Mrs. Christine Brown at the Caravilla Retirement Home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Overton Funeral Home with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
