The funeral for Ellen M. Schrieber, 78, Fargo, will be there at 2 Wednesday in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. She died Friday at a local hospital. Ellen M. Carlson was born Feb. 3, 1903 at Hastings, ND where she was raised and educated. She worked at Valley City State College before she married Chris Schreiber Sept. 2, 1925, at Moorhead. They moved to Fargo. He died in 1958. Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Clayton Schreiber and Mrs. Leo (Phyllis) Schreiner, both Fargo; Marvin Schrieber, Medford, OR, Mrs. Russell (Darlene) Adams, Kirkland, WA; two brothers and three sisters, William Carlson and Mrs. Clarence (Myrtle) Verduin, both Litchville, ND; Harry Carlson, Wahpeton, ND; Mrs. Herman (Elfie) Erickson, Outing, MN; Mrs. Ethel Hughes, Waterloo, IA; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
